Lucas Leite was born 11-3-82 in Sao Paulo Brazil, his father is from Rio De Janeiro Brazil and his mother is from Sao Paulo.

His father put him to start training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 13. This was Lucas’ request after seeing some friends at school messing around and fighting using Jiu-Jitsu. His first instructor was Ryan Gracie and after receiving his blue belt he left Ryan’s academy to join the living legend and world famous Leo Vieira in Sao Paulo. Lucas says that after joining Leo his skills sky rocketed and he started winning many competitions including a 2nd place at the World championships as a Purple belt, and 1st place in the Worlds as Brown and Black belt.

Lucas has been in the US since 2007 teaching in La Habra and Upland Ca. He has also traveled to many countries giving seminars hosted by many different jiujitsu practitioners around the world who love Lucas’ style of training and competing.

As of 2010 Lucas competes in every major tournament and loves the thrill of competing and preparing with his teammates for every competition.

Lucas’ goals are, to be the best instructor he can be…teaching Brazilian jiujitsu, creating world champions, making his team grow, and creating many memories along the way.
